About Diaspora Time

Diaspora Times is a global digital magazine created to bring the stories, voices, culture, and experiences of the Indian diaspora closer to home.

For millions of Indians living across the world, being away from India does not mean being away from its culture, traditions, memories, and connections. Diaspora Times is a platform that celebrates this connection while also highlighting the people and communities shaping life beyond India.

From India and the Indian diaspora to entertainment, lifestyle, fashion, health, culture, travel, business, community events, and inspiring personalities, we bring together stories that inform, entertain, and connect readers across borders.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is simple — to connect Indians and India lovers across the world through stories that matter.

We believe every community has a story worth telling. Whether it is an entrepreneur building a business overseas, an artist keeping Indian culture alive, a family celebrating traditions thousands of miles from home, or a new generation creating its own identity between cultures, Diaspora Times gives these stories a platform.

Our Vision

Diaspora Times aims to become a trusted global platform for the Indian diaspora — a place where communities can discover stories, celebrate their roots, share their achievements, and stay connected with the world around them.

EDITOR’S NOTE

Every publication begins with an idea. The Diaspora Time begins with a purpose — to create a credible, contemporary and inclusive platform that reflects the people, perspectives and possibilities shaping our increasingly connected world.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural October 2026 digital edition of the Diaspora Time, marking the beginning of our journey as a monthly publication. Our vision extends beyond simply reporting events.

We want to document journeys, celebrate achievement, examine issues that matter and create space for voices and stories that deserve greater visibility. From community and culture to business, leadership, health, migration, lifestyle and the evolving relationship between Australia, India and the wider world, our pages will seek to inform while remaining connected to the people behind the headlines.

The diaspora today is not defined only by where people come from. It is increasingly defined by what they contribute, the connections they build and the influence they create across borders. The Diaspora Time aims to capture that changing story with professionalism, substance and an international outlook. This inaugural edition is therefore more than our first magazine. It is the first page of a long-term editorial journey. As we move forward with a new digital issue every month, we hope to build a publication shaped not only by our editorial team, but also by our readers, contributors and communities across Australia and beyond. Your stories, perspectives and constructive feedback will be an important part of that evolution. To everyone who has contributed, supported and believed in this new beginning, thank you.

Welcome to Diaspora Time.
